Index - Sarah's Own: List of Classes, below I love to create baking recipes and have been doing so for a long time but I have very high goals for myself - not only do I work hard to make a recipe delicious and foolproof, but I work hard to make the whole experience a memorable, creative culinary event - for instance, when creating my Ultimate Chocolate Butter Cake Recipe, I believe the red-brown hues of the cocoa powder in the recipe entice us. We use all of our senses when we eat - not only smell and taste, but we also eat with our eyes. The natural colors can be enhanced through ingredients and leavening agents, or suppressed without the right ones. Working with cocoa powder is tricky; it took me a few extra weeks to get the color of the recipe just right by balancing the ingredients and oven temperature so the cake was more eye-catching. Moist and creamy textures are also important in recipes. It took me extra testing to make sure my Ultimate Double Layer Butter Cake has those attributes. A moist cake also keeps longer (great for wedding cakes) and has a "wow!" factor when you eat it -- many remark, "Wow! This cake is so moist and rich!" Why not make the whole baking experience a great culinary event? With my recipes, I have worked hard for you already so you can be assured of one!
